Fire Alarm Engineer

DKI Fire Protection is currently looking for a fire alarm engineer to cover Maidstone, Kent, Sussex, Sevenoaks and occasionally further afield. Although the work is mainly servicing and commissioning, some small installation work will be required.

• Candidates will ideally have gained FIA units 1 & 2 and have at least 3 years’ experience working within the Fire Alarm Industry.
• Working knowledge of Morley, Advanced, Kentec, Hyfire & Ziton systems would be an advantage, although not essential as further training will be given as required. Our training includes fault-finding and servicing of SenTRI and Gent systems.
• Candidates must be hardworking and self-motivated with the ability to work under their own initiative. You will need to be well organised and disciplined, with good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• As a fire alarm engineer, you will be required to work some weekends and out of hours.
